How should I prepare for my spray tan?
* Exfoliate 24 to 48 hours before
* Wax or shave 24 to 48 hours before
* Arrive with clean, dry skin
* Avoid lotions, oils, makeup, perfume, and deodorant
* Wear loose dark clothing after your appointment
What should I wear to my appointment and after?
During the tan, you can wear whatever you're comfortable in. After, wear dark, loose-fitting clothing to avoid streaking while the tan develops.
How long will my spray tan last?
Most Norvell tans last 5 to 7 days, depending on skin type, preparation, moisturizing, swimming, sweating, and exfoliation habits. Proper aftercare can extend results closer to 7 to 10 days.
What is the aftercare process?
* Avoid water and sweating until rinse time
* Use warm water only for your first rinse
* Do not use soap during the first rinse
* Pat dry instead of rubbing
* Moisturize daily
* Avoid exfoliating products
Will I turn orange or be streaky?
Never! We use premium Norvell solutions and custom color matching to ensure a natural, luxury glow tailored specifically to your skin tone. Norvell uses violet, brown, and olive undertones designed to create a natural looking tan. Orange results are usually caused by skin pH issues, poor prep, over application, or choosing a shade that is too dark for the client’s skin type.
Why does brown color wash off during the first showe
The color washing off is the cosmetic bronzer, not your actual tan. The DHA reaction has already started developing in your skin.
How long does the appointment take?
The actual spray tan process takes about 10–15 minutes. Plan for about 20–30 minutes total to allow for a consultation and drying time.
How long does a Norvell spray tan last?
Regular solutions (Venetian, Cosmo, Plus): Wait 8 to 24 hours before your first rinse.
Rapid solutions (Venetian ONE/Rapid): Rinse after:
* 1 hour for light color
* 2 hours for medium color
* 3 hours for dark color
The tan continues developing for up to 24 hours after application.

Jamie will apply a custom Norvell spray tan tailored specifically to you, creating a natural, flawless result that can’t be achieved in a spray tan booth. The appointment takes about 15 to 20 minutes, and you’ll leave with personalized rinse and aftercare instructions.
